With Q Files I set out to share the stories of aromantic individuals. Visually inspired by 90s trading cards and early 2000s RPGs, I asked individuals throughout the world to share their experiences of aromantic confusion and queer discovery. Then they scored various emotions connected with that memory on a scale from one to five. Their stories have been exhibited in 2023 at the Lansing Art Gallery and in an expanded form in 2026 at Grand Valley State University as part of “Shot With a Lead Arrow,” the first aromantic art exhibition in the United States.
